Why BIMI Is Not Showing

BIMI is not just “add one DNS record.” It depends on stronger authentication and mailbox-provider support.

Check these prerequisites first

  • DMARC is published and enforced with p=quarantine or p=reject
  • SPF or DKIM aligns correctly
  • BIMI TXT record exists
  • Logo asset meets provider requirements
  • The mailbox provider actually supports BIMI for your setup

Frequent blockers

  • DMARC still at p=none
  • SVG file format is wrong
  • Hosted logo URL is unreachable
  • VMC requirements not met where required

Treat BIMI as a finishing layer. If authentication is unstable, fix that first and revisit BIMI after the core trust signals are clean.
