Reduce Your SpamAssassin Score
SpamAssassin is not the whole internet, but repeated high scores usually point to issues worth fixing anyway.
Typical score drivers
- Weak or failing authentication
- Suspicious wording or formatting
- Broken MIME structure
- Too many links or heavy redirect usage
- Sender infrastructure that looks inconsistent
Practical reduction plan
- Fix SPF, DKIM, and DMARC first.
- Simplify the message structure.
- Remove avoidable shorteners and noisy tracking patterns.
- Keep branding and domains consistent.
Do not optimize for SpamAssassin alone. Use it as a proxy for message hygiene, then validate with representative inbox testing.
