Understand Your Deliverlens Score

Deliverlens gives you a fast snapshot, not a mystical reputation number. The score is only useful if you read it in the right order.

What the score really means

  • Pass: the check is healthy or not currently risky.
  • Warn: something can reduce trust or consistency, but mail may still land.
  • Fail: a stronger issue that can hurt inbox placement, routing, or authentication.

Prioritize fixes in this order

  1. SPF, DKIM, DMARC
  2. DNS and routing issues
  3. Content, links, and structure
  4. Reputation and ongoing monitoring

Do not overreact to one warning

  • A single warn does not mean the message is bad.
  • Multiple related warnings often share one root cause.
  • A clean score with the wrong sender domain is still the wrong test.

What to compare between runs

  • Sender domain
  • Provider or SMTP relay
  • Authentication results
  • Link set
  • Subject and body structure

Use the score as a prioritization tool. Fix the highest-impact root cause first, then rerun the same representative message.
